thanks, I will hold fire until then.....I could just get our one repaired if necessary. It may yet prove only to be the plug in the bottom but as I mentioned it has been welded before around the inlet/outlet.

Wanting to get the car sorted for the coming super summer! I have removed the oil cooler and temporarily deleted by running the hose straight back to the block enabling the car to be moved around.
I have asked various suppliers for information about their chinese ones and how the entry tank is with no reply so not prepared to buy.
I may see if a radiator repair place will look at ours....it is in good condition, the matric not corroded at all. I dont think it is the thermostat plug leaking though so really a pressure test is required.I may even may my own up!
Just in case.....are there any good early under radiator oil coolers out there not needed?
