He's getting on, so I dunno about that.

No-one will pay £30k, but that doesn't mean you can find one any cheaper in that sort of condition. I know what it costs to build a similar early Mazda.

What it's worth and what people will pay are often two different things.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

£30k :o

is it gold plated?
only cars i keep an eye on in that kinda money are honda nsx's. should have bought one 10 plus years ago as they are getting more expensive too.

The blue scottish one was probably worth a high price, but i think £12000 is the limit currently. then there is cliff's elford, well worth that kinda money.

If it's selling purposes then I suggest you stay glued to this Series 1 shortly to go through auction. Yours is red I think.

No Would never sell its been part of me for much too long!! Just would like to get it valued properly instead of me guessing when I have to fill out the Insurance details. At present I have a guaranteed value of £5,000 from my Insurance Company and that is reviewed every two years.
I would like to think mine is one of the best left on the road so hence the curiosity of the value. I paid £6,000 for it over 32yrs ago so would be nice to know if and when it overtakes that figure

Hi

I have just joined the forum.

My RX7 is not on your list so here are the details
Owned since early 1990's.
Series1mk3
Green
84k
Show standard pre-SORN (in 2001!!)
Currently SORN but in the process of a slow re-commission.
West Wickham near Bromley Kent

I also scrapped a white A Reg RX7 many years ago (and repaired and sold another B Reg) so i will hunt out the reg numbers for both of these at some point soon.

Thanks for that Stuart, long way from home at the moment but I'll update the register next week and push out another location list.

(I've said it before, but for new joiners I'd just like to say that no confidential or sensitive information is ever put on the net, only Series of car, 1,2 or 3 & very generalised colour & very approx location by area).

I knew about the Hayes TWR as I 'donated' a scrap blue one to him via a friend in the RX7 club as I had too many cars to take it on at the time (he wont know that though). It would be great if we could have a local meet with some or all of the others when I get mine on the road and maybe we could meet in the meantime at some point so I can take a look at your turbo.
