BC rotary enthusiast

Post by placd1 »

Hi! I've been a fan of rotary engines and the FB Mazda RX7 ever since I was 13 and my best friend's Dad let us start his 85 GSL SE . The car had a full Racing Beat exhaust, Weber carbs and was bridge ported. It was the pinnacle of automotive perfection then and still is now.
I recently got the opportunity to buy a 1983 GS along with an 85 GSL donor car. The 83 was garaged for 10 years and only has 50,000km on it. The 85 has a blown engine and major rust issues but is a vital source for spare parts which are hard to find out here in BC, Canada.
I have big plans for my car and hopefully with the advice and experience of fellow forum members , I'll be able to achieve my goals with my FB.
