Re: Rexanne's new owner checking in...
OK, you've lost me!
Never mind though, would this be any good to me?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rx7-13b-Turbo ... 7fe&_uhb=1
I've got about £2 - 3k to spend, but that needs to include everything, hopefully including an LSD, rear wheels to match the front, a pair of new tyres, as well as the engine.
I don’t know if this is realistic given my budget, but I figured around 200 lb/ft would make for a fun road car.
On the plus side Steve’s already given me some sort of mounting plate for a 13b and fitted the Megasquirt. I’ve also got a f*ck-off big FMIC and Garrett GT28R sat on the shelf.. although from what I hear this’ll be ‘too small’ !!??
So basically what are my options? Pros and cons for each?

Re: Rexanne's new owner checking in...
it all depends on what you want..
You could easily turbo the 12a with a s5 turbo and have 180-200rwhp on 10psi for under £1000 if you are handy with fabrication etc.. S3 box would survive also..
Doing the s4/5 13b upgrade you would also need the box to match, tailshaft modded to suit and a few other bits and piece which would probably eat that £2k fairly easy.
the GT28r is on the small side but would prob spin up the 12a ok and have good mid range but fall over up top.

Re: Rexanne's new owner checking in...
My swap cost me around £3k, that included the computer, FMIC, hybrid blower, S5 gearbox, exhaust, propshaft and the kit I needed to make the fuel system EFi friendly. You are part the way there, can't remember what fuel pump Steve used but I'm running a good old fashioned Bosch 044. Did everything myself apart from weld the brackets on the intercooler, build the exhaust and make the propshaft. Just to give you an idea.
I personally don't think you'll do the swap for £1k, and definitely consider swapping the gearbox at the same time. Shoot me a PM if you wanna chat over the phone or whatever.
You would also need to buy or make an exhaust manifold to push the turbo up and forwards out the way of the steering box if you bought that lump.

Like i said £1k to buy a s4/5 turbo, make or buy a exhaust manifold, hook up dump pipe to existing exhaust and small bits like turbo oil feed etc is doable.
it all depends on what you can do yourself, what you want to spend and what you want from your package.

Hi Herman and welcome aboard.
Sorry I'm late greeting you - everything has already been said about Rexanne (is she keeping her name?) by the gang so all that is left for me to say is 2013 is already knocking on your door mate so get busy
