Rexanne's new owner checking in...

Post by Herman »

Hello all,

I bought Steve's gold FB on Thursday, so just thought I'd pop in and show my face. Really chuffed with the car so far - Steve's done a fantastic job!

Got a small little list of jobs to do on it over the winter, but for now I'm keeping her tucked up safe and warm in the garage, finding my way around her and 'taking stock.'

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as I go along but for now just 'hello'!

PS Don't have any pics of my own yet, so I've pinched one of Steve's Image

Hey Herman,
a warm welcome to the fb forum!
Great that you've joined up..... we've got a lot of affection for your car on here having followed Steves ownership of it over the last 2 years or so......

Chuffed it's staying on the forum.

cheers,
Ian

Hey, welcome along. Glad to see the car's staying in touch, and nice to meet the new owner too of course ;) . You got a seriously top-notch car there, like most of us I've watched Steve's progress from the first bit of welding to the present day, and I'm pretty jealous (both of the car and his can-do-attitude and skillz  ). Wish I'd had the money to have it myself

Welcome from me Herman. Has the car stayed roughly local to Steve might I ask? (Rough location is fine for your privacy).

One of the most fabulous pics of Rexanne was the Calendar Pic a couple of years back, taken under a gazebo in the snow with Steve working on the car and sparks flying. One eye was hanging out of the car as I recall.......unbelievably atmospheric shot I always thought.

Let me know if you don't have it and I'll try to scan and load on here.
