Big welcome dude look forward to the threads on the S1. Very jealous of the track near where you live, would love that! W(p
I'm restoring an SA at the mo with a 13b conversion when I bought it and sounds like yours will be a lot of fun when you've finished. Is she just a shell at the mo or everything but the engine is in place?
Welcome again

Welcome aboard mate.

Yeah, there's a few Kiwis on here. I know what you mean about prices. 1998 running RX2 coupe for $250  but now!

Crown range was better before they sealed it but still fun. They still do that hill climb there. The Pikes Peak type one? Rid Millen and all that.

Get some pics up bro. What block are you starting with?
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

simon, she was just a rough rolling shell when i got her ,guards and doors rusted in usual spots ,the interior is pretty sweet no cracks in dash etc ,had all the original
seats in her ,attacked the shell to trace rust ,only bits are around the back wheel arch down low and a wee bit on the ass around the hatch
have managed to get a couple of rust free doors off a bloke that brought a container of parts in from the states
and a factory guard still in the mazda box!!!
also tracked down a group c spoiler for the rear end ,you either love em or hate em ,but i dig it so thats all that matters
got a buddy to whip up some fibreglass flares for all for corners
also picked up some 13x7 hotwires
still trying to work out if i wanna get it street legal so i can just drive it to the track and home
will try and get some pics up soonish ,im still on crutches at the mo ,snapped my tibia and blew my acl so three operations later staring to feel normal

the crownrange is pretty awesome ,i like it now all the bridges are two way,no more crazy japs having head ons!!
the hill climb your thinking about is the race for the sky ,up the snowfarm road ,the organisers pulled pin a couple of years ago due to funding
shame as it was a pretty loose event, but the road is still there for all the locals to cane up
it will come back when someone takes it over
thanks for the welcome

Tena brother welcome aboard!

I got no clues about the mountain roads as I've never been to the southern extension to the country but I did spend a fair few years drifting around the back streets of South AK in various hunks of **** I happened to own that were RWD.

Back on track get some pictures up of the car and let's see what the guts is - my bro has a 12a Bridge which goes pretty well so a 13b bridge will go even better :D

Hiya and welcome, fella. This thread is, of course, meaningless without pics ;)
