1982 RX7

Post by RX_EJA »

Hi guys below is my 1982 Series 2, dad bought this in around 85, he has a a garage and rarely ever drove it its covered 38000,miles only ever been driven in summer, and when not in use has always been garaged, mile in fact

Between around 2003 and 2006 I started driving it around in summer only, pretty much evrey summer I may have missed the odd year or so , then came to the final year of uni and subsequently a job, ive just not had the time to put this on the road, until know, was cleaning out the garage at my parents house and thought what the hell, lets get her fired up and then cleaned up, and then new battery service and so on and now its back on the road for me to have a little fun in.

When i began driving it I thought when I finish my studies and start working, this is gunna be my project car and Im going to restore it with some modern cons, Ive already metioned my dad owns a garage and i grew up there so can do most of the stuff myself, thats part of the reason for me joining this site, firstly to share my passion and secondly to pick up some tips.

anyway please find attached some pics and a vid!!!!

Hi Mate and welcome...sounds not to bad that motor.

For my register, whereabouts in the UK are you?......rough location like county will do fine.
