Exile Eurotrip 2012 - 25th-27th August

The boys over at Exile Rotorsport have been organising a trip to Breda in the south of the Netherlands.
We have got a few of the crew signed up and hoping that by opening up the invitation to the rx7fb.com members we can increase the numbers of attendees.
We are also planning to catch up with our fellow Dutch rotary enthusiast while visiting their fine country. This is in the early stages but looks likely to be a car meet with BBQ and beers on the Sunday.

Prelimenary itinerary

Friday - Sleep well, you'll need it.

Saturday 25th
- Meet 8:30 ish for train crossing 9:20.
- Arrive Calais 11am. Google says Breda is 2hours, 41 mins. So 3 or 4 hours (for breakdowns...) we arrive between 2pm and 3pm.
- Set up tents and have a late lunch BBQ and chill.
- Later hit a few Bars/Coffeeshops/Beer Halls in Breda. Much Exile Carnage ensues.

Sunday 26th
- Breakfast and Sunday Morning Drive
- Lunch somewhere cool
- Drive/Bars/Coffeeshops/dinner/bars take your pick. More Exile Carnage.

Monday 27th
- Late checkout
- Leisurely drive to Calais
- Back to England 4:17pm.
- Drive home.

thanks for opening this up to the members of the FB forum....
I really fancy this trip, a quick tazz around the Eurozone in the Elford sounds like a great road trip, especially if we have a meet with the Dutch guys.... I see there is a lot of interest and enthusiasm for it on their forum.

My car is being welded this week and then hopefully it'll be mot'd next week...... as long as this doesn't show up anything terrible, (and it passes) I may be in.

It's cool to have the old school rotary forums in the UK getting together with our rotary driving friends across the channel....

If anyone from the North wants to travel down on the Friday, they're most welcome to crash at mine. I'm in SE London/North Kent, so a nice easy drive down to Folkestone in the morning.

Make sure when you book the camping you say you're with the club.
