Rear Boot carpet

Hi all

I am after the rear boot carpet for my 1979 SA as mine has rotted through in places.
Also the boot strap that was fitted in the rear for what I am not sure as mine was rotted away. I guess it helped tether the spare wheel down??

Not got any of the bits, sorry, but the spare wheel's held down by a bolt into a thread in the wheel well floor innit? Mine has four straps that X-over to secure like suitcases and stuff, is that what you mean?


(Lol, like any suitcase isn't gonna stick up above the seat backs, the boot's that shallow maybe they're for the sunroof? )

Straps in the boot are for securing the roof panel


it is, after all, pretty much the only thing that fits in the boot

What colour do you need? I've got a full set of brown carpet in great condition.

I was wondering what the strap was for in all honesty as its pretty useless for most things .... much like the "boot" lol. I have a solid roof (unless someone painted over the panel and in this build I am not sure they won't have) so thats why I didn't think it was for holding the panel down
Hey Rotaryguru, my interior is a redish brown so I would be interested in those carpets mate, a full set would be great thanks. Do you have a photo?

Yeah, can get photos - The carpet is still in the car! I am pulling out soon and putting in a black carpet I have. Happy to pull out this weekend, as i'll be working on it.
