Anyone have a good usable 12a centre plate for sale?
Mine has tiny ports with NO cast into it. would like the small port variant if anyone has one.
Im thinking of 3 rotor short engine with PP housings so small ports means less to fill with devcon etc.
Let me know.
Regards
Jamie

Re: 12a centre plate
Might want to look at buying from overseas if you want to exactly match that centre iron you had off me, that ones not a UK market part, I think "NO" irons are Jap market.
There were other irons with the small port, but I don't know all the casting codes. Generally they're not that desirable due to the small port, but like you say ideal for a PP build.
I don't know how much of a rush you're in for it, but I have a JDM 12A 6port, which I haven't decided what to do with yet, It might find it's way into my yellow car as it's a running engine, or I might pull it apart and use the rotating assy and I'd be interested in swapping the irons for tall port irons to build it as a 4 port 12A. The centre iron is a small port, like a "NO", It will be a later 83 onwards iron so would be nitrided and I think it has the overhead ACV port and doesn't have injector holes either, like your "NO" iron. There is a small difference though, the iron has a boss and studs on for mounting the engine off the centre iron in the HB cosmo, that may or may not be useful to you in mounting a 3 rotor in whatever you're putting it in, but won't do any harm if you weren't to use it.

No immediate rush but definitely interested in that if you pull it apart. Im just getting various prices for E shafts at mo. I may stick with 13b if prices get stupid but lets see
