BEAULIEU SIMPLY JAPANESE - 30 Jul 17
Anyone interested in attending this event, we could get a Club Stand if enough?
It is always a good event, it would be nice to see if the other RXs are attending & have them next to each other?

Re: BEAULIEU SIMPLY JAPANESE - 30 Jul 17
Good suggestion Pete.
I went along this year, taking KIMI 2 to add something different to the RX-8 OC stand - she attracted quite a bit of attention amongst all the 8's! Tim White of RX Motors also brought along another FB onto the stand. I only saw one other FB in the entire show (so three in total).
It's a busy event with thousands of Japanese cars there, and plenty for a petrol head to see at the Museum and grounds. The house is well worth a visit and there's lots of other stuff, such as the SoE (WWII Special Ops) exhibition. There were some games for kids and a falconry display too, so a good family day out.
If the RX7FB club decided to take a stand at the show I'd take KIMI 2 down. If the Club wanted a stand next to the RX-8 OC stand then I'm sure could arrange that. There are a lot of 8 owners who love to see the older rotaries and I think we could put on quite a display, based on turn-out at the RRG show.

Only 1000km one way. Must have some overnight stay and holiday from the factory and a ferry.

This sounds good to me as I think I'm going to give RRG a miss next year. Anyone else up for this.
