Currently have an issue with no trailing ignition. Car has a custom wiring job. I do not have the "map" So I have leading ignition but no trailing. Basically running a factory series 2 set up. ( except for the damn wiring.) ANY advice / links appreciated.
Also looking at changing the distributor a result of above. But I have no idea what distributor is in it. It may from as late as a Gen 2 car.
Did Mazda use the same distributor 1982 - 1987 or are there differences I should be looking for. ?

Igniters would be the first thing I would check.
S2-4 use the same or essentially the same dizzy. They are interchangeable.
