New wheels for S3

Post by DeanRX7 »

Just scanning various ebays for wheels and came across these.

Would these fit my S3?

Seem cheap for the set.

I think kiwidave has a set of these.

offset ET40mm would be a little lame. Look for ET20mm to get the rims flush with your arches.

Mine were from a volvo V40 / Mitsubishi Charisma and ET was 43 which wasn't great for front fitment. They actually look ok on a RX7 but at a ET40, you may want spacers to push them out a bit. Also, not really suitable for those with a deep dish fetish ;)

17in is a big wheel. Might be tight at the front for steering if you have a body kit. You'll need to get the wheel / tyre combo right to avoid fouling and to keep your speedo readings accurate.

15s are as big as i want to go just to fill the arch. most likely the original wheels will get re-done but always looking at options.

+1 for that. 15s still keeps the oldschool look.

A 155R13 is the same diameter as a 195/50R15.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......
