hello everyone, thanks for the forum!
i recently got a 79' and starting to go over everything. The car was "touched" quite a bit by the previous owners so wires arent where they should be, things arent how theyre supposed to be, ect. So it'll be a long project but hopefully fun. Look foward to learning a lot from the forums. thanks!

Hi,
welcome to the forum, nice to see another series 1 being fixed up...... are there many of them about in the US? Hardly any left in the UK, although they didn't sell very well here, especially in the early days. Be nice to see some photos of your car.

Hi Karcher.
Puzzled a bit. Are you in US or UK?
Welcome anyhow, location don't matter except for my register of UK FB's / SA's.

sorry, im in the US. How rare are the S1? i didnt know theyre that hard to come by.
I'll post photos when i can get some more. I only have a few now. It looks a LOT better in the photos than real life. It appears someone washed the car with steel wool.. and the interior is.. well... gone. Its a big project. [img][/img]
