After getting in contact with Racing Beat about one of their bolt-on manifold and Holley carburetor kits, it appears that they think the set-up won't fit with RHD cars. They say they've had problems with the setup fouling on the brake servo and master cylinder on RHD cars. I know it's a long shot, but do any of our American cousins on here have this upgrade fitted and could put up some pics of how it fits, pretty please? Hopefully that'd give me some idea how much room there is (or isn't) to play with. I'm trying to work out if a bit of a tickling would accommodate it, or if there's no way in a million years. Otherwise it's going to have to be a Weber and that's just boring...

Hiya Lucky

Hows it going?

I sent Atkins this enquiry recently... Re: 76-85 12A Holley Intake & Carburetor Kit - Street Porting (18034)... Is this suitable for a half Bridgeport engine? or are you able to make it suitable? and at what cost? Thanks.
And got this short and to the point reply... The one you mention is for a street port, Racing beat does not offer a bridge port intake kit for the 12A
(and evidently have no interest in developing one).

Where are you going to get a Weber and manifold from? I need to source them as well but am not sure where to get them from.

P.s. if youre browsing the mags in wh.smith this month have a look at page 15 of the February Custom Car.

Hey Derek, hows it going dude? Have you managed to get WankelPop a mag feature? Cool as 8-) Naww, RB don't seem to offer a bridge-friendly setup but mine is going to be streetported anyway so that didn't bother me. However, if it won't fit then that would bother me :(

Mick, that's a good price but I haven't the cash right now myself. TBH, I've got a manifold I'm most of the way through polishing already, so I'd probably just be after a carb anyway

Hi, not so bad.
No, not a feature, its part of an event report.
Good pic captioned 'Derek Nicol arriving in his Mazda Rotary powered Pop'.
