My name is Keith and I am the proud owner of a 13B powered 1981 RX7 GSL
The car is a work in progress as it had suffered lots at the hands of the previous owner but is slowly coming back to life.
So far the car has had the rust sorted out, a coat of paint, carb rebuild, MSD coils and plug wires, replaced the points dizzy with an electronic one, complete set of suspension bushings, new shocks all round, new discs, pads and callipars have been overhauled, all new brake lines and stainless flex hoses and a new scratch built wiring harness as the one that was in the car was hacked to pieces...... And as of this afternoon, a new windscreen, all the way from USA.....
The biggest problem with owning a rotary and especially a 1st Gen Rex is parts, there just aren't any in South Africa, you either order from outside the country or find the tools to produce what you need!
