Saw it at The Gathering as part of the SOS club display, but I never got a chance to hunt down the owner and find out more about it. Don't think he's on here. TWR front, think you'll find. Got a few more pics of it if they're of any help. I like the look rather, though I have to say I don't "get" the nude bumper style thing

I saw it at the retro rides beach party last year. Did speak to the owner briefly, mentioned here, don't think he ever posted / joined though?

Re: This owner on here???
Might be an Elford front, maybe it just looks different cos of the foglights missing. I'm sure at the time it looked different, like the lower airdam section was separated by a swage line from the upper part, but it doesn't really show in the photos. I thought TWR did a front that was almost the same as the Elford one? Maybe I imagined that

Lots of the Jap 1st gens which are race/road have the bare bumper look. I can't decide if I like it.
There is a 1st gen in the US with the back end all smothed over too.

That's right, he never joined or posted as far as I know either.Steve-A wrote:I saw it at the retro rides beach party last year. Did speak to the owner briefly, mentioned here, don't think he ever posted / joined though?
History is that it was sold in Wiltshire early in 2012 then it was noted at Brean Sands in March 2012, (Weston I think we said that was?) and then it was at Prescott Gathering in Aug 2012.
S'bout all I can add. No current location for it but probably still in West Country.
Oh, and it's presently roadgoing not SORN according to our friendly DVLA.

That's class. Can't exactly call it beautiful, but it looks tough as nails. I was strongly considering that rim set up, but alas, I'm too poor to buy a set of real TE37V!
