Keeping some stylish company there Dave.
Must be nice to put that demon to rest!
I have a feeling that 2016 is gonna be a good rotary year.

Waiting to see how good 2016 is. TWiR is awaiting an MOT. Gotta hold my breath until tomorrow. Horrid drive down to Guildford this morning in torrential rain. Took less than five minutes to fog up every glass surface.

MOT fail

1x front wheel bearing and 1x rear wheel bearing. Front isn't an issue as it just needs tightening. Rear needs replacing though. So,having spent some time on RockAuto double checking the measurements, I thought I'd have a futile look for some UK based stuff.
Andy at AMT called Europarts .. they'll take a week on special order and even then, I'm not convinced it will be the right part. Then I found this place
http://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/
They have a complete kit, including the shims, at £20 + delivery so I've ordered two so I'll have one side as a spare. Apparently in stock and ready for dispatch in 24 hours!

Still holding my breath though for the inevitable 'sorry we're out of stock' email

Good luck, when I tried to order my shocks from them they were in stock only to get that email.

Hopefully Dave that be a good find, if they fit I think I will have a set.
1 x new bearing for a ticket is a small price.

The kit I ordered doesn't show on the link now, not even as limited availability. The only confirmation will be a 'order dispatched' email. Less hopeful now than before

TWiR has been awarded a MOT. Rear wheel bearing all done (there's a story) and I'm collecting her tomorrow. Andy has fitted the new track rod ends so I'm looking forward to improved steering.
I'd asked him to fit my nice brake hoses too but TWiR, in her usual petulant way, has stopped that from happening. It seems that although the front hoses will separate from the caliper and the line, they are somewhat welded to the bracket and will not budge. Andy doesn't want to snap off the bracket either which is what will happen if he flexes it any further.
There's probably a plan B somewhere but it can wait
