Shame to see you're hitting the eject, Tony. Is there any chance of a price list/bits list though?

prices will be cheap for the FB bits but obviously there is no running gear at all so just interior and body panels (minus the front wings) All the running gear bits i have will be subject to a full thread if I look to sell them and they will go on FDUK first for obvious reasons as they are FD parts.
Im not sure how much the wide arch kit is worth, it is in very good condition with no damage and it is good quality, not like a lot of the replica stuff out there for more modern cars. If someone would like to make me an offer, go for it.

I would have thought someone would step up and take it off you rolling as you've done the majority of the hard alignment work.....

i would have thought so especially as i dont want a lot for it, and the amount of work that both Ian and I put into it.

It could be something i will try when building my widebody.
Did you sell the car, or what happend?
Is it it possible to find a FD at a decent price in UK?
I want to do this...
Here in Sweden they cost way too much.

Lucky (Nik) is our resident FD guru on here ...... I'm sure he'll be along soon to tell you about the fd market in the UK

I wish I was, I might not have made such a lash-up of building mine

You need Lachie, he even has "guru" in his username
But as to cheap FDs, sadly yes there are quite a few in the UK at the moment. The old Mazda reliability legend doesn't help, and it's taken a knock even more since RX-8s have proved themselves to be terrible on the reliability front, it's tarnished all RX-7 models by association. Plus the recession means people don't have money to "waste" on a luxury like a second car that's really impractical and gets terrible fuel mileage. Then the price of fuel

enough said. Then the stronger Yen means the good Japanese imports are beyond the price range of what people are willing to pay for a 20-year old FD, so the ones being brought over in recent years have been crap, in poor state and often needing a rebuild. All these things have hit prices proper hard
Short version is on cars with known provenance and history, from a club member or sensible enthusiast; for stock twin turbos you could get a
very good one for five grand. Single turbo cars you can get pretty sorted examples for from four to eight grand, and as good a car as you'd ever need with everything done and loads of exotic bits for ten. There are eBay cars in poor state with no history going for two or three grand
