I fixed mine with a little breather filter but that's a neater solution, innit
As much as I appreciate you noticing my bung, I should point out that it is actually a cap or at least, a cover. A bung is for insertion and .... um, it's probably best to end it there really

.... and not so much power?? How very dare you sir! I'll have you know that I am hardcore and therefore, I must take you to task as to the validity of this statement

I knew you are a hardcore guy but attention if you loose the part from the aircleaner you will get more power on the engine! Get you?

Today I have been mostly rushing about!! I took TWiR for a drive down Brighton way to see Garath at 'The MX5Restorer' who kindly offered to take a look at my exhaust abortion (a visual guide on how not to weld a manifold!!) and also fix up the old Janspeed system that came off the car.
Anyway, long story short, I was briefly detained at the roadside by a traffic policeman who said he liked the RX7 and then explained that the MOT for said vehicle was expired!
"I think you'll find that it expires in November officer"
"Have you had the vehicle inspected since August then Sir?
"Well .. no.. and I'm not saying that you're wrong here but I really did think that it was next month and .. shit .. how dumb am I then"?
etc etc etc. So, a ticket for me to be replaced at some juncture by written notice of a fixed penalty of as yet unknown proportion.

lol, glad I'm not the only one

I had exactly the same on the FD. It was while the FB was in the paint shop and it'd been so long and I was so focused on getting it done I forgot all about the FD legality. Funnily enough, only the week before I got a pull I'd rung the shop to remind them to put an MOT on the FB before they gave it back to me cos it'd run out

How me and the copper laughed when I said that.
Can't remember what the actual fine was in the end, either £60 or £90. They offered me the chance to go to court and contest it but since I was clearly guilty as sin and that would have given them the chance to make it a round £1000 instead, I thought I'd decline the chance for my day in court

how we miss the good old days when you could wash an old one in brake fluid, then fill it in yourself and produce it down the local nick..... allegedly

No no no, its all been lost in translation....
Dave: Thomas mentioned that losing the pipe might net you some hp, I questioned that it possibly wouldn't be worth it compared to the very significant hp you already have
Thomas: Tut mir leid, nicht 'Standards' aber 'ursprüngliche Aussehen' Motorraum, das macht Sinn?

Ich denke wir haben jetzt genug Unsinn geschrieben!
I think we have written enough nonsense!

Dave prefer the OEM look of the engine room, he is afraid the cops could find to much horsepowers!
