thanks Ian, ive made abit of a mess of it, I would clean it up a bit and delete the duplication, but cant seem to edit the post!
Thanks, the car could do wth abit of touching up however whenever anyone has tried to respray over it (touch it up etc), it reacts and the paint starts to bubble!
Im just gunna run it for know and when ive got a bit of cash on the hip, strip it all down myself, no longer have a inhouse painter so will outsource it to a chap who does all our bodywork!
But the thing is, i have this urge to go all out and mod it up whilst keeping the image retro, uprate the suspension and brakes, and bridgeport it, a freind of mine used to race the gen 3 until he moved to aus and he mentioned something about adding another rotor which i never fully understood.
So ive still in 2 minds, do I update the handling engine etc and keep a retro look or complete restore it to its orginal glory???

I don't see any reason why a bit of light modding should be to the detriment of a more-or-less original car. It's pretty much what I've tried to do with mine, in fact. With the simple and relatively cheap addition of brakes, wheels and tyres and shocks/springs, I've now got a car that easily holds it own in much faster and more modern traffic than it could on the 30-year old worn-out stuff. Yet it'd still look almost stock if I hadn't changed a few exterior bits as well. TBH the loss of originality is well worth the gain in usability IMHO

I, and I think everyone else who's tried it, would recommend replacing all your old suspension bushes with new poly bushes. That will make the car feel so much tighter and better handling while looking completely original too, especially if you get the poly bushes in black

well the bushes do need doing, it twitches when you hit a bump! but might as well do the whole thing, brakes, suspension etc!
I think they are gorgeous cars, espically from the side, but just feel they look a bit narrow from the front, would like to widen it out with some wider tyres which I hope would improve handling, and add a little something to the front bumper so it looks a bit more imposing!
I was also thinking when i do respray it to do it in the Bullit Mustang Green Colour and add a little chrome detailing, door handles, roof trim, wipers etc!
Could do with a better clutch as well!
