One of the items that needs addressing is the radiator which has a hole. Are there companies/individuals out there who can repair/recondition it or should I replace it? If replace where is the best place to look?

I used these (local to me) guys to refurbish an oil cooler on my Series 2 car:

..but their main work is refurbishing cooling rads. They did a great job on my cooler, but it wasn't cheap. When I went to enquire, I could see loads of rads they'd worked on, ready for collection, and the workmanship was excellent.

If you are looking to keep the car looking original, then a refurb (new core, keeping the top and bottom tanks) is the way to go - there will probably be other companies like my local one in your vicinity.

If you are not bothered about looks, then an aluminium replacement rad will probably a cheaper option. I'm sure others on here have done this and can advise.

I let refurbished my cooling rad too. The new core they built in a racing core with better cooling and works good for me even more then 20 years now.
The company was called AKG in Germany.

Finally got the car collected. It is definitely over fuelling. Some pictures of the worst rust areas on the body and underneath, also the stainless steel exhaust that will be going on.

Near side steering control arm has loads off play and will need changing. The stainless exhaust is not quite the right one.
