Nic Williams' Ford Falcon gasser never fails to entertain
Image

and pulls pretty good wheelies despite the unusual ride height
Image

Yet another ludicrous pickup showing just how frisky they can be
Image

...and on the topic of daft trucks, I've a lot of love for this dillapidated ol Dodge camper thing
Image

...not just cos of the quad-exit sidepipes!
Image

Sticking with random old Dodges... no idea what this is, answers on a postcard, ta. It's most excellent, whatever it is
Image

..and back to more traditional muscle. One of the archetypes of the musclecar era, a 440 'cuda
Image

Just perfect
Image

Oldsmobile Cutlass, the basis for my favourite of all time, the 442. Mind you, the "base" model is hardly a disgrace when it looks this good
Image

Image

Oh, look.. as if by magic
Image

I always think the test of how good and strong a car's shape is, is if it looks equally good as a convertible as it does a coupe. The 442 is the archetype of this for me
Image

Pub trivia moment; 442 means of course? 4 on the floor, 4 barrel carbs, 2 tail pipes. Amaze your friends lol
Image

Mercury Cougar convertible. Shame this is the base model rather than an XR7 because it means you can really see how cheap and tacky the stick-on wood "veneers" look in comparison to the higher models. Not my favourite colour either... but still an object of great beauty
Image

but given the choice, I'll have the coupe, thanks. Those wonderful sequential rear lights in full;

Tough as a scrapyard dog

Another Coronet, this time with rather natty paint job. Went past this on the M1 as well, and it certainly has some presence on the road
Image

This is what I mean about some cars being lost in the wilderness a bit. A '79 Camaro to me is just an ugly thing. Don't get me wrong, it's a purposeful looking thing, and undeniably a tool even stock, but compared to the beautiful clean lines of the original Camaro designs, it's nowhere near. All I can console myself with is it's still better than what came after.
Image

However, with all that said, this one certainly bears closer scrutiny and in isolation the details can be made quite marvellous to look at
Image

Image

...and it quite clearly works pretty well!
Image

Another arbitrary action shot of something trying to spoil my pic of a nice Challenger by rudely wheelying into shot hahaha
Image

I've taken a zillion pics and vids of this humongous flip-painted Chevy truck in the past so won't spam this thread up. Just the one.
Image

Errrr....WTF!?
Image

Weird Capri thing sadly brokeand had to be pushed back out, though I gather it was running well later
Image

More Rods...
Image

Loving the very neat tupperware full of bonbons for Madam
Image

Image

This one had a bit of shock and awe about it. Based on a Model A, I thinks
Image

Excellent interior
Image

Excellent detail touches
Image

excellent finishing
Image

and excellent "stance". Just excellent. Like this a lot, can you tell?

And, to finish, just a few last bits of insanity. This Anglia was hilarious...
Image

The dude takes the bonnet off and it's like a pop-up book. Even looking at it now it's hard to understand how he fits so much engine in such a little car!
Image

and finally, no Mopar thread would be complete without the Taz Racing Chevy-engined Fiat 126
Image

being front engined, this one is a bit more controllable than the rear-engined Toyota ones and the like. Errr... Cortina, too. Weird.
Image

but it still does great burnouts
Image

and yeah, it still wheelies
Image

Best one of the day;
Image

That's yer lot then, thanks for looking in. Now go away

My vote for the Plymouth Barracuda. If you've ever seen a film called 'The Wraith' (which you would only watch because Sherrilyn Fenn is in it), the token drug head character drives a 'cuda.... and it just works.

The Wraith was Charlie Sheen's first film, wasn't it? Excellent mid-eighties cheeeeeese! IIRC he'd come back from the dead as a Dodge Nascar Pace-car driving zombie (when he wasn't gaying around on a Kawasaki KMX125, of course lo)l. Sherilyn Fenn? Can't say I remember her  *whistles*

LOL You are the first person that has actually remembered that film. Didn't know that the bike was a kawasaki but I do remember it was sound dubbed as a turbo or gas turbine powered thing. And two white guys calling each other 'bro' Luv for 80's cheeeeeeesy flix.
