I can see what you're saying - I didn't go last year, but went the year before...it was pretty empty, and the weather was typical for Santa Pod

I still enjoyed watching some drag racing though, and as the rex doesn't get out much, it made a change


I'll go this year, as it's on my birthday, and it'll be my only trip to the Pod in 2 years...I'd rather not have the only FB there though...so come on guys, don't leave me alone amongst all those RX8s

on a sort of related note, do we have to get rotorstock tickets from MRC or can we buy on the gate?

IIRC they send all the tickets out in a big bunch nearer the event. Haven't ordered mine yet!

Our stand is upto 8.5 cars now. There's a guy with an old 323 who was looking to tag on a stand on the retro rides forum sho I said could join in on the side of our stand. The word stand is overly formal for retro rides gathering, so it just means he'll be parked near us and the .5 is a maybe from Jojo with her Rx4.

minus one for the mazda stand now I've sold my car..... I'll still be there for a chat though if the tickets ever turn up.

It says on the website that tickets will go out on the 30th of July.

Shame that you won't have a Mazda to bring Ian. Still if whatever you're coming in is older than mid 90s and has a 'retro feel' we can park you with us on the stand.
