Is it me or are asking prices getting more sensible recently? They seemed to be getting a bit silly, especially that white S3 at auction for 25k, but last few I've seen haven't been so dear.

That's the same with everything at the moment, only place to buy a car is at auction these days, if you watch auctions most cars are selling at sensible prices or just not meeting reserve. Prices being asked are not being achieved in general on car ads.

Wow, that car looks amazing for its age - only 36K miles too. Low price at the moment.....

Malcolm it has at some point been resprayed as the moulding is missing down the sides, have to say the interior is very good. It's also not on its original engine.

Yes, I did suspect a recent respray, which could be concealing a whole raft of corrosion issues....

Saw this car at 7's day last year. It was a surprise when it showed up. Along with a silver NZ imported car

Not all S1s had side mouldings from new depending on the trim level.

Don’t know if it applies to uk cars but savannahs and USA cars were offered in several trim levels.

James you could be right, I owned my 1st S1 in 79 and at that time they only sold one model here and they all had side mouldings
