Actually got the old girl out for a run around the block today, ran really well once warm with only a tiny amount of hesitation here and there ( well its an elford after all)
Just need to fill her up with some premix for safety, then take her for her first motorway speed run in 20yrs !!
I will report back once I have been 🤞.
Steve.

Where are you from Steve ?

Could go for a blast in convoy if you fancied it ?

Or maybe see you at a car show in the future 👍🏻

She looks great!

Take is easy

Hi Vic, from Rainham Essex mate,
Once I have got a few speed runs under my belt I would love to get together for a cruise.

There are a few FB Owners in Essex now. Maybe it would be an idea to organise a Sunday Brunch meetup and a convoy run, now the weather is improving? I've organised a few for RX-8 owners in recent months.
KIMI 1 : 1st Gen, "hybrid" 1983 silver S2 running gear in a 1985 S3 shell, SORN'd, long term resto project
KIMI 2 : 1st Gen, 1983 silver S2 - now sold to Ian Mothersole on here.
KIMI 3 : 1st Gen, 1983 red S3
Plus a 2004 Full Bridgeported RX-8
