Looks awesome from another Stardust Blue RX7 owner (1981 non turbo)
Be interested in photos of the under bonnet decals if you have them, as mine have long ago been painted over by previous owners, so photos and dimensions would be great as there are people on other forums who could then make me stickers

I have also got to repaint the factory blue air cleaner box (which of course you won't have) and find the white lettering to put on that.

But I have to say I am envious that you have a rubber spoiler that looks great, I had to resort to (I think) a TWR rear spoiler.

Hi Justin,
Mine is a standard Elford conversion, so it does retain the original blue air cleaner box, I was toying with trying to print replacement lettering for mine so that I can paint it.
I have 3 of them but they are all a bit scruffy lol
Mine is very original under the bonnet so I will see what info I can get you on the sticker measurements etc before I decide to paint the engine bay !!!
Cheers Steve.

Thanks Ian,
I nearly missed what looks just like a paint drop to the right of the Mazda badge, which when I checked is on all of my three air filter boxes !!

Looks awesome - any chance you can share what paint colour you used and the lettering for the box, was that scanned images ?

Hiya,
I took the lid to the local paint shop and got them to match the paint for me, got them to make me up an aerosol £15

The text I did by photographing the words, then tweaking them in my daughters vinyl cutting software, not simple but I think it’s worth it for the end result.
Steve.
P.S. I am thinking of having a go at another one, but use the vinyl as a stencil and painting the white lettering on as it was from the factory.
