to close this thread out....

After unexpectedly buying Gus from Dave I decided to sell this car..... I don't have long term storage otherwise I may have just kept it but they really need to be used so I thought it was time to pass the car onto someone else who could enjoy it.

I removed my mods and returned the car to near stock....

off came the Elford rear wing to be replaced by the original stock rubber spoiler.... the TII leather seats came out to be replaced by stock S3 seats, the wideband, gauges, 12at cluster and Alpine ICE were replaced with stock S3 items as were the LSD and Aero mirrors and the electric cooling pack.
The Elford Turbo setup was removed and replaced with a stock Nikki and the TII oil cooler was swapped out for a stock beehive.

It was then mot time...

After it flew through it's mot I put it up for sale and it sold within 3 hrs and was collected by its new owner... last photo of it being driven away....

And that ended my 7 years of the ownership of this car.... I see pictures of it occasionally on the various Facebook groups.... nice to see it out there and being used.
