Hey guys, been lucky enough to travel to Japan for work and always dreamed of buying a 12AT (dont get excited, im still dreaming). On one of my days off found this at a dealers. 1983, GT-X. Its clean and pretty rust free but a very dodgey overspray, all the electrics are stuffed and a very cheap plastic coating over what must have been a cracked dash. Cant even guss how much would it be to find and replace that shiny crap in there now. It would have been way too much work and expense to get it just to where I have my one now. Thought you may enjoy the pics though. A lot of rust on the inside of the petrol cap and in the hose down into the tank also was a warning that it has sat for quite a while. Low km, ....I started it up, and it ran sweet though, idled high then dropped when warmed up and gearbox felt smooth but overall, time and money needed to get it back to standard was out of my budget.
If this and if that blah blah....would have bent over backward to get it and know these are going up, so my last chance to buy one but again sadly, the financial risk was too much. Did like the colour combo but would have preferred the mirrors on the wings and not the truck ones on there now.
