Rear brake caliper

Post by 1of1 »

Hi all
Looking where to buy Rear Caliper slider repair kit for 1982 series 2.
I bought front repair seal kit and piston from Autokoraltd in London.
Sent them a message today but not sure if they have piston, found seal repair kit (235016 Frenkit)
But I am struggling to find rear slider repair kit and seal repair kit with piston - maybe not even available.
Any Ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Has anyone got any useable rear brake caliper slider pins for sale ?
Still have to try Biggred on monday and sending pictures to Sarah at Brakecalipersolutions to see if she can possibly help.
I have tried several places but getting no luck.

Try Atkins Rotary. They have the guide pins (sliders) and the bolts

Hi Dave
Bought from atkins Rotary before
Just checked no slider pins for 82.
Also now looking for brake caliper mounting bracket with slider pins.
If I get no luck it's looking like blow torch grips and hammer.
Oh the joys of owning an older car !

A lot of us have been there. Almost every bolt needed cutting out during suspension bush renewal on my S3.

Or Tim White at RX Motors www.rxmotors.co.uk

He just sorted me out with a wiring loom section.
