Rear sill and floor pan repair

A bit of what's involved to do a repair on the floor pan next to the rear lower trailer arm mount and rear sill inc strengthener below the B post..... a very common corrosion point on 1st gen RX7's

Thanks Ian, A great guide for the job I need to do on my 84 this winter.
When in doubt....hit the gas.

I wish I could take the credit for the welding Dean.... it was a mate who welded my car... proper craftmanship, the photos show the work that went into it... top job

In particular some of the pieces of steel that have been hammered into shape are really excellent, you don't often see craftmanship like that now, people tend to make them in multiple parts & stich them together.

Some welding to do? :lol: Image
Image Had to peel of all the exterior sheet, weld in new steel on the inner plate and make a new outer skin.
