There was always going to be a few around. That's 3 that I know of now Pete. No engine bay shot though :thumbdown:

Was it someone on the forum who purchased the Anglia Auctions car? I bid to £6260, but couldn't bear to part with more for something I hadn't seen or driven.

I'm still in the market for an original car if anyone knows of anything!

The video gave you a good idea it was a nice example. Not sure you will find many better, Having gone as high as you did, £300 more and your search could be over. I am sure you will find one soon, maybe Ian's Elford, that is one I would buy!

I tend to be quite skeptical of these cars that are advertised as being in almost immaculate condition.
And apart from a few rare examples, I would say that unless the car has undergone some kind of restoration or led a very charmed life indeed, it will still need a good bit of work to bring it up to a good reliable standard.

Though maybe I'm just too cynical. :lol:
