A connection on the boost controller kept making it cut out. So I wasn't going too hard . I still have another 2 PSI to safely play with also hahaha

So After the last update. I had a wheel alignment done at Chemix in Stourbridge. Great bunch of people there. Had a good chat with some of them that own Evo's. The guy doing the alignment was a really nice fulla and has a LOT of experience. Great communication as he got the car all prepared and then sat down with me to chat about what I was after with the car, and if I had any particular settings in mind. The car drives so much nicer with these settings than previously! Can't really do much about the rear really though? That difference in rear toe



Went to a few local meets and had a few cruises over to Caffeine and Machine with Steve-A and friends. Can't wait to get back out and about!







I grabbed an old bench grinder from work that was going in the bin. There was nothing wrong with it and I'm still unsure why we got a new one really. So that's a win for me . Set my polishing mops up on it and tested it out




I noticed when I took my intercooler piping off that my GReddy elbow was filled with some weird powdery stuff?! I still don't really have any idea what it is or how it occurred. Corrosion from sitting for months is my only guess




I bought some little HKS filters for my boost controller



Noticed the fuel hose from my lift pump to my swirl pot was all cracked. Replaced it with some fresh stuff. Why is it so damn hard to find some GOOD fuel hose?! So much dodgy hose on the market. That cracked hose isn't even old and is a good brand from a legit company



I had taken my spoiler and aerial off a good while ago and had been using duct tape over the holes . I finally stopped being lazy and got the welder out. The welding went okay. It was my first time using filler and doing proper body/paint work. There is a reason I haven't put any close up pics . Looks good from a distance though! Nothing a bit of sanding and repainting can't sort out anyway. Oh... I also ran out of colour matched paint near the end of my first coat






So when I went to C&M with Dave for 7's day last year. My fuel tank was leaking! I had wanted to POR15 the tank anyway. So this gave me a good reason. The inside of the tank still looks pristine as posted on page 10 so I didn't use my fuel tank repair stuff. Just gave the outside a going over






The underseal/stonechip was horrible to remove. It heats up and gets all stringy






One of my arches developed a hole when I was rolling and pulling it last year. Cut the rust out and welded a new bit of steel from a leftover sill repair panel. Some filler should make it look fine haha. Ran out of colour matched paint on the spoiler area so sprayed some satin black on for now







Figured that whilst I was down in the arch area, I should get on with a nasty job that I had put off for far too long! POR15 my arches and suspension mounts! The boxed sections of suspension mounts were looking a bit nasty. A heatgun + screwdriver or some sort of scraper gets the stonechip off nice and easily. Then a rag with white spirits gets all the sticky residue off fairly easily. Methylated spirits might potentially be a better shout as it isn't oil based though?



Degreased and prepped with the POR15 products they sell. You can see the steel has turned a slightly gold colour.





I have got more to post up. But it can wait for now. I am also still working on my rear end of the car! Getting close to being back on the road though
