My 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE ...

Post by Redx7 »

Hey Folks ,

A big HELLO on the other side of the Pond ! Live in New York and recently bought a 1st gen RX-7 after 23 years!...Use to have a 1985 Sunrise red back in the early 90's and loved that car .... Recently found this beauty after many years of searching ....Sunbeam Silver ORIGINAL owner 84 SE in amazing condition with 95,000 miles ..... Really missed the smoothness and sound of the Rotary engine and glad to be back ! .....Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy ! Nice to be part of the RX-7 community again ....

Thanks HobbaWobba ! ....I recently just did a bunch of Baselining/Maintenance stuff on the car and its running like a Dream ...I want to keep it original and dont plan to do any serious modifications to it . Maybe will add a rear spoiler if i can find an original one for sale on Ebay or elsewhere ...I recently saw a photo of the Elford Turbo rear wing online and REALLY like the look of it but thats a rare wing to find to my understanding ....The interior of the car is like a time warp ...Only thing i did to it is re-Dye the original Floor mats a darker shade of Charcoal grey to pick up the color of the dash/console and door cards ..Really pleased with outcome !

Thanks to All ... Really Enjoying the dynamics of my RX7.... Always look forward to driving it to just listen to the sweet Hum of the Rotary Engine and to sometimes here the rev limiter “Buzzer” as I’m rowing thru the gears ..
