Hmm I hope it does find a buyer and gets restored looks ok. I looked but I am after a scrapper with a solid rear hatch area so I can cut it out and weld it into mine. Sacrilage really I know

This pic was on the RetroRides forum on their "spotted" thread. The guy is based in Manchester so i am guessing from around there.

Difficult to make out the reg, is it one of us??

Yep, A77 WOM, a white S3. Originally a 3 Spires Mazda Car. Was for sale for quite a while at a small place on the Staffs/ Derby border. It found a buyer last autumn.

I didn't know where it had moved to though. Manchester Area is it?

From the pic I hope he/she has not left their braking too late...... At least the brake lights work......

So far in the last 2 weeks I have done over 2k kms and not seen 1 FB here in NZ. They must be getting rare and valuable and getting chained to garage floors. Oh well at least my "crate" is packed and getting shipped this week. Just the last of my stuff from home to come back to the UK. A few engines, a 2 owner Vauxhall chevette hsr with dead engine( I've owned this for 20years and it hasn't turned a wheel for 18 years.)

Was at a retro rides meet on Sunday saw this s3, do we know it?

I briefly spoke to the owner, who said he'd just recently bought it. He was having a few teething problems with the carb and clutch slave and I pointed him towards us :) The MRC window sticker was apparently left over from the previous owner apparently. I didn't get to ask if the wheels / arches were new owners work or not. Looks nice but looks like it needed a little mechanical TLC.
