I think so, I know the S3 has chrome nuts onto wheel studs. Whereas I'm fairly sure the S2 has wheel bolts going into threaded holes in the hubs.

It's a S3 look at vents in front spoiler, B or C reg,looks a B reg to me.

Thanks Marc, I need the passenger door glass. Some bastard put a load of windows in last weekend. Strange as it's usually really quiet round here.

Did you manage to get out there today? I'm going at the crack of dawn tomorrow.

All people who have asked me to look for bits, I will do and report back here.

Also, I've seen it already 2 weeks ago. The guy didn't think it would have any interest. It was only after asking some questions did it magically appear on ebay!

I'll try and get some better pics too if they let me.

Cheers,

Mike

I have a passenger door glass mate, come over some time :)

I went today, bought the bonnet...which could end up elsewhere, the centre console and gearstick surround, which hopefully will end up elsewhere...and the drivers door rubber...about the only part destined for mine ;)

I am heading over on Monday to collect the bonnet, and pick up the boot retractable cover thingy, the headlight washers...that's probably it - most of the rusty bits on mine are...yep...rusty on this one too

Bugger! Serves me right for not paying attention. Looks like Tender Blue bonnets are going to be worth more than gold soon

Hi all watching this thread.

Had a good chat with the guy at Ripley's today. He said you were popping down (Marc) to grab the bonnet and other bits.

I took photos (link below), and the reg is C801 DKJ 8-)

It was really hard to look at everything as the access was bad and it was on top another car. Was a tad slippery this morning too.

The guy collected it wheel-less too, which is a shame!

Anyway, hope the pics answer some of the questions those had and I couldn't get under the bonnet as mentioned above, access was bad.

Cheers,

Mike

My bonnet has some scratches, and the leading edge will need touching up. The bonnet from the breaker is stonechipped, but otherwise looks ok. If it matches my colour well enough, I will swap it, if not, I'll leave it and repaint mine.
Either way, there will be a pretty decent tender blue bonnet available in a week or so - I do believe Ramonz you were the first to ask, so you get first dibs if you're still interested...

Thanks Mike (& Marc). That Reg is new to me. KJ was Maidstone so one of the Mazda company Reg cluster that we've had before with the FKJ press cars and the CKL group.

Funnily enough I've seen inner rear wheel arches a lot worse than that. Rest of car looks well used though.

Yeh, it didn't look in terrible condition at all. The chap said it only came in as the clutch had gone!! Shame really!!
