Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
it used to be green. The last time we saw it for sale back in 2013 it sold for £950.Threesevens wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 9:11 am White series 3 for sale on Ebay.
Its got wire wheels which I haven't seen before, but I don't think they suit the car.
Its white with a brown interior, an unusual combination, but i suppose it might have had a colour change.
Buy it now price £2995

Bolt on wires.... not a good look on anything made after the war.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
I was thinking of colour coding the black trim on mine, but that cars persuaded me otherwise. Think its looks far better with the black & white combo.
I think wire wheels can work, but maybe not those ones.

all one colour can look ok, but I think that car on Ebay is too much with white door handles and side mirrors too. I think I prefer S2/3s with black mouldings all around intact rather than removed, but if you're going to remove them I'd paint the parts of the bumpers body colour.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings
on ebay Lee Engines have a number of FB's and FC's that look like they are being broken or about to be.
if you are looking for parts this looks a good place to check out.
He has a series 1 in red that doesn't look too bad.
Ian, for the register there is a green FB, reg no. A36FPV, but you may have this already

Quite an interesting one, the advert says that its been converted to use the FC subframe.
But upon closer inspection that looks like to me 100% like an FD from & rear subframe that have been hacked in there.
If I wasn't at work I'd be tempted to go and have a look at it just out of curiosity.
