Finally the underside of the car is rustfree and coated in epoxy. It has been a laborious and dirty job to get rid of all te old undercoating and rust. On with the rest of te bodyshell now. Next is the roof, where the hinges are sitting. More rustholes! Yeahhhh.

You will keep the car original as possible, so you paint the car red outside and take red interior inside ? Do you mod the nikki carb to get more power with the RB exhaust ?

Re: Danny's RX7 FB
Keeping te car original...some things about these RX7's, could be just a little better I think. I like to keep the overall look as stock as can be. However, i never realy liked the look of te original wheels, so these will be changed. The paintcode is R3, Renaissance Red. It's that orange/brown copper color, and i don't like it at all. Some previous owner must have had the same idea, and had it repainted in a bright red metallic, which sits on a thick layer of sprayfiller/primer. Later someone painted the roof satin black. On top of all that, somebody thought it would be great if he sprayed it over in matt gray....All these layers have to be removed and eventually i will paint the car in that bright new white Mazda color A4D, Arctic White. The red interior will stay.
Engine wise, total rebuild with a mild streetport is the plan. RB exhaust is allmost a must have. Who wants to run that old, rusty thing under his car? If possible, i would like to keep te Nikki. Give it a good clean, and rebuild. Any tips for that are welcome.
lots of plans, and a lot of work!

Re: Danny's RX7 FB
Sounds good, keep the wheels looking timely and test fitting them before painting the bodyshell.

You mod the suspension lowering the car ? So you have perhaps to strech the fender slightly depends what tire size you choose. Better you check this before painting.
