1- i thought rotorstock had been dropped by Santapod.
2- even if it is still going last year was crap, so do not bother

LOL, trouble is rather more that I'm usually too hungover the morning after Rotorstock to think about driving anywhere until at least... oooh, afternoon Mind you, last year was a special case cos it was Gary and Di's wedding. I think I went to my tent at 3 am when I realised I was just belching neat gin into the back of my mouth... then couldn't sleep cos of the illegal rave in the next field going boomboomboomboomboomchikkachikkachikkawhirlybeepboomboombooooom all night...then the police helicopter hovering overhead with its searchlight going and tannoy blaring... then the torrential donwpours that turned my tent into a very wet kettle drum....then the monster trucks warming up unsilenced V8 methanol-burning eight litre engines at half past five... Fair to say it was a looooooong while and a few gallons of coffee before I felt safe enough to drive out of the field, let alone on the M1.

For future reference, should anyone be tempted to try the experience of almost unsilenced 430 bhp FD + hangover so severe you'd swear you were actually blind + wet field then four hours of traffic jam, my advice would be... well, just don't expect to enjoy it


Rotorstock is now just a name franchised by MRC to Santa Pod. The show is officially called "God of the Pod incorporating Rotorstock" Hmmmm, snappy title

I missed it last year, was there in 2010...just nice to break up the monotony of RX8s with some FB loveliness

I doubt I'll ever pitch my tent at santapod again...everytime I do that, I end up in a mudbath...we have friends in the area, so it's their spare room, or a hotel from now on
