Don't worry about any of that mate, they don't need it to process your registration.

Build date
VIN
Engine Nº
Make, model etc
Fuel type

I don't know about repatriation regarding what form you need but as far as registering a vehicle in the UK you don't need to fill in every single detail just the ones you know - like the above.

Thx to all above for your help! th:

I actually asked the same question in a separate thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4228&p=42904#p42904
gt_james came up with some gold there, so I think I'm back on track and should have the V55/5 form filled out appropriately and in the post in no time now.

Sadly I don't mate. I would love to get it back on its original reg. It would just be a nice touch. But I doubt that's going to happen, as I honestly don't have a clue as to how I would ever find out what that reg. was...
Best Regards,
02Anders.

Do you have any of the original paperwork, handbook/dealer receipt or even on the export documentation or bill of sale?

All I have is the Swedish registration documents.
Sadly no other paperwork or documentation came with the car...

Nope, I checked everywhere and anything I could possibly think of. Nothing.

I'm back - finally....
It's been a long process - partially due to the DVLA being somewhat awkward, and admitted eventually also down to me losing momentum and committing my time to other projects like the restoration of my hillclimb BMW 2002 and not least my recently acquired Reliant Scimitar.
Anyway, I've just received confirmation of UK registration. My Elford Turbo will soon be back on the road with reg. A220 VYE. Plates should arrive next week. yay

However, since I parked it multiple months ago, it now idles very rough, so will need to have a look at that...
Best Regards,
02Anders.
