A few more pics from a most exceptional day ....

Now, you'd think that for all of it's off road posturing that it would be 4WD right? You'd be wrong! Front wheel drive only

Here's a special thing. The ONLY ONE remaining in the UK!

Can ya tell what it is yet??
Close ..... let's do some badge engineering ...

It's one of these and I didn't know that they existed,

And after all that, it turns out that I don't have the money shot
So just ask Google and here is the car, just at a different show

And here's something you don't see every day

This is the same model 8v Mk2 GTI that I owned back home.It was an ex UK car. Same color. Same P slot alloys. And same LHD wiper pattern!

James brought the red brigade along .....

An Elford RX7 in close proximity

And finally, this .... sitting in a corner and no one is taking much notice

which warranted closer inspection

SU carb

But you gotta get real contortionist stalker type close for the big secret!!

Norton Interpol 2 ROTARY

I hope you enjoyed tonight's program. Thank you and good evening

A lot more comprehensive than I had imagined LOL. So much easier with Imgur to fix up linking errors and such. I was a bit cross eyed after all that.
But absolutely, next year is ON. Thanks for entrusting me with the reins of Big Red. He was very well behaved. Red Brigade FTW

Great pictures Dave........what a good mix of cars all in excellent condition.....& plenty of space between them. Most seem to have Printed cards in front?
Is it by invitation as it is one I would be interested in next year perhaps....easy access?
Hardly call them Unexceptional or is that irony
The Interpol II (I road them in their Military Police guise) was a lightweight bike but being Air cooled did not like slow moving traffic & the Fairing did not help, the better version made from excess parts was the Norton Classic. It later became the water cooled Norton Commander.

Linky thing here for info https://www.facebook.com/events/festiva ... 151007882/
The organisers are quite open minded but there were a number of spats amongst keyboard warriors regarding what really constitutes an unexceptional vehicle.
From the hundreds of vehicles that attend, a small number are selected to be judged. The judging panel did thank little old ladies everywhere which was quite a nice gesture
Easy access and an amazing venue too. You need to be there next year Pete.
