price drop on the heap.....now down to £995...... still £750 overpriced.... if the welding is as good as the paintwork then it's scrap value only.

It is always sad to see another 7 that should have gone with grace & donated its parts to the lives of others....................instead it will change hands again to some poor sod who has always wanted one, believing it will be a straight forward restoration, loose faith having spent ££s on it & sell it on.......I think it will be unlikely to see the road again  It now has another coat of paint that would have to be removed................it is worse now than when it was with its previous owner.

Looks like C111 YSP has had a massive professional makeover and respray in Blue not Green.
How can it have changed so much?

Looks good to me, and the price seems realistic. You can see under the bonnet the strut studs and nuts were not masked off when the engine bay is painted, hopefully that isn't the signs of poor prep work before the re spray. Definitely looks worth a look though.

If you know it's been resprayed a different colour then that's one advantage to you on the price.
If the resto has been deep and thorough then maybe it's now a good 'un.

Only you can say how much the fact that it's been heavily worked on will affect you.
If you're near take a look but be firm and be prepared to walk away.
