Cheers mate!
Hopefully so, to me it feels like I'm going quite slow as I'm working on it by myself. But I'm putting everything into small chunks so I can manage it all without overwhelming myself.
Putting on average about 6 hours into it each night and on weekends more. So doing the maths I will hopefully be on the road and able to come to some car shows with you guys next summer (fingers are crossed).
The main issue I'm going to come across is finding a good supplier of fastners as everything is in metric fine!

1975 RX-4 SEDAN - BUILD THREAD - SCABSY
Re: 1975 RX-4 SEDAN - BUILD THREAD - SCABSY
Painted the footwork tonight and a couple other odds and sods.
Tomorrow's going to be the big night of welding all the pin holes etc on the chassis. Hopefully my friend and I will smash it all out. I've pre marked everything up when I went over the shell with a fine tooth combe.

You guys probs think I'm bonkers for priming before doing the majority of the welding but I was fighting a loosing battle going back and fourth every night and grinding the same rust off that grew overnight lol

Slow down, you're showing some of us up
nice work though, will be interested to see if you find somewhere good for metric fine fastenings.

Hi Scabs, I've been keeping quiet but watching with interest.
Keep up the great work.
