yeah, i bought my white A reg Series 3 in March 1989 for £5300 from a dealer so I reckon you're right with these years Dibs looking at the sticker prices.

I bought my '85 from there in 89 marked up for £6995, and paid £6500 but if I remember the recite said £6200 as he was the owners son and wanted a drink out of it, but did get him to put 2 new tyres on it.
that more or less pins the date of the photo at 86/87 then I reckon. I don't know the actual date it was taken Dave... I was researching the history of my TII vert and this came up as Stanborough was the supplying dealer in 1989.
