Re: Beaulieu Simply Japanese Show 2018
I plan on going again this year. I've currently stuck my name down on the RX-8 OC list for this, but I'll take KIMI 2 down if all is well.
I'm sure the RX-8 OC would be happy to co-host with us here again, if that is OK with people. It seemed to work well in 2017. It saves the hassle of trying to negotiate and deal direct with the Beaulieu people about getting our own stand. Another advantage is the RX-8 OC tend to get a pretty good location, else we could be stuck in the back of beyond!
Whatever, maybe a good time to start a list on who's interested in going along, then we can sort out if we want our own stand or not.
List:
1. casey
2.
3.
4.
5.

It would be great if we took it a stage further this year & RX8 OC willing, we could have a cross section of Rotaries:- I will bring the FC , maybe someone could bring a Cosmo (wink wink) a FD & of course the FBs. I did not get the RX3 owners number , but it would be great if he could appear as well.

Think this will be a more realistic date for me to complete some work haha. Was great last year and would be awesome to set up some massive rotary stand. I know a crisp sounding RX-3 who's keen (not the black one)

Dom with his 10a Bridgeport! Ha. I spoke to him a few days ago and he said he was keen. See how it goes. Dunno if his Cosmo will be coming down or notMelloYello wrote:more details......Hobbawobba wrote:I know a crisp sounding RX-3 who's keen (not the black one)

Re: Beaulieu Simply Japanese Show, Sunday 29 July 2018
I've just confirmed with the newly elected Events Coordinator (Nigel) on the RX-8 OC that he is very happy to host RX7fb club members and their cars on the RX-8 OC stand again in 2018
I've said people may wish to bring other rotary cars along and that is not a problem. They hope to get the same/similar stand position to last year.
Tickets are available to purchase for the show in their online shop for just £10 per adult:

Just put your mailing address in the comments box to ensure your tickets and passes are posted out to you nearer the date
Something to look forward to in 2018, hopefully with some warmer weather than here today as I write this!

Hi Guys, we've got a while yet, but just to confirm I'm committed to this and have bought my ticket.
When you purchase your ticket (link in above post), use the "send additional instructions" tickbox to enable you to add "RX7fb.com" and your username to your order. Then post up in here when done so I can liaise with the Events Team over on the RX-8 OC to ensure all goes smoothly
There are about 35 cars so far expected on the RX-8 OC stand, but I'd expect that to grow as the date gets closer.
List:
1. casey - ticket purchased
2. KiwiDave
3. DKWW2000 - FC Vert
4. Hobbawobba
