Made some picture Luis. My problems are no daylight, no OEM painting, no contrast cause my car is gunmetal.knight_rx7 wrote:Can you send me a picture of yours???
Anyway, I still have to paint the windshield moldings black so I can correct that. I want the car to look as original as possible.

No problem, that works out perfect for me.....spirit r wrote:Made some picture Luis. My problems are no daylight, no OEM painting, no contrast cause my car is gunmetal.
Thanks!!!!!
I'm planning to buy this headlamp set. They look like the OEM and I can use either LED or Xenon light bulbs. Besides that price is quite good!!!

You can find a lot of cheap 7" lamps in example in the net. In Europe we need a special certification sign in the Glas.

Sadly no.....spirit r wrote:Any update Luis
I've got to a point where I need to be there for my next step. Also I got into some real state investments which has left my pockets empty.
Unfortunately and due to the car being in so many places with reckless people in the past, I've come to find that the entire harness was completely cut from the firewall forward. That has been holding me up.....
I've been thinking and thinking what to do, and I realized that the easiest way to move forward with the project is part out the other FB I have in my garage, so I'll be the perfect car donor. Since mechanics are not to be entirely thrusted, I'd like to be there in the process of part out. Taking pictures and making sure everything is properly arranged (I must say I'm the type of guy I want to control things, so I'm guilty as well). Only then I can install the harness and start installing the interior, which I must say I believe I have everything, or at least most of it.
I was lucky to find a rear shaft with LSD which I think I'll install shortly, so I'll take care of the rear brakes as well and get that done with. Still deciding since it's not cost effective towing the car back and forth just to do one small thing. Problem is that at some point you start to get anxious and don't think properly....
I should have some really good updates towards the end of the year....
Thanks for asking mate!!!!!
