Toronto GSL Owner

Post by dyeo »

Hey everyone,

I have been lurking similar forums for a while and I thought I'd join the FB club here since I'm a proud FB owner myself - I have a 1984 GSL with the original 12a engine, albeit modified with an aftermarket header and exhaust and a weber 45 dcoe carb bringing the horsepower up to about 150 from the original 101. It's an amazing car I joyously drive as much as I can, and I look forward to sharing this joy with the community!

Thanks! It's great at the high end! But it gets a little shaky at the low end on account of it only being 2 barrel, albeit far from unbearable.

Thank you! She was very well taken care of by her previous owners; I have every single maintenance receipt, and all the original literature. Only issues is the rear bumper is slightly out of alignment from when the clear coat was redone (original paint underneath), and a number of minor dents and scratches I can count on two hands (all of which I will be fixing soon and then doing a ceramic coat to protect). The interior is worn, but less than you'd expect for its age (I quite enjoy its current state to be honest!)
