You've got to admit guys - the 1st Gen is definitely the better looking model from all the series, and yes I'm biased too

Never saw such an Harley Davidson "Supertrap" muffler like on the brilliant white Fb. Does it work and Sound good together with the Weber? Anyone know the car?

Hi Thomas.
The owner (in London) was on here up to about 4 years ago.
Here's his introductory post.
He's not posted since 2012.

So as i understand nobody can remember the supertrapp exhaust sound of the Bridgeport engine.
200 RWHP that exhaust must working good.
I have to ask Damon. The friend of the car owner.
Thanks for that information. 0-0

I nearly fitted a Supertrapp to mine. My research led me to believe they're utterly useless on rotaries. They reduce backpressure by inserting more slotted discs into the muffler... but that makes more noise. Essentially the only way to not stifle a rotary horribly is to fit so many discs that they're essentially no longer a silencer at all and end up apocalyptically loud.

Shame, cos they look top hole. I was looking at fitting a pair but with the necessary welding and expense it ended up being too expensive a thing to pursue for something that may well never work
