Hi all, just looking to install a T2 oil cooler to replace the bee hive cooler on my 84 elford turbo,
every thing looks straight forward apart from the oil return line from the cooler,
where the return line connects to the rear lower casing is where the oil line that feeds the turbo is
connected, could I tee the turbo oil supply line in to the oil cooler return line ?? or use the oil pressure
switch connection to feed the turbo ?? any advice please.
thanks steve

Re: Oil line
Hi Steve,
On the Elfords, the oil feed to the turbo came off the oil gallery at the bottom of the rear plate which also feeds your oil cooler...

and you need one of these so you can spur off for the oil feed to the turbo....

The banjo fitting on the line from the oil cooler connects to this banjo bolt and then the feed to the turbo comes off the end of it.... you can see the oil cooler lines I had made up here for my Elford...

and fitted to the car...
