Yayyy! Collected the car today, have to start by saying huge thanks to J at Super 7 for getting it up and running in such a top state. The welding and repair they've done on the few bits of rust is tip-top. Can barely tell where the sill was done, and also plated those stupid fishplate things where the rear suspension tie rods connect to in the wheel arch (hmm, need to brush up on my parts naming skills, maybe

)
Anyhoo, not had a chance to do much yet other than drive it a bit and buy some wheel locks, but took the chance for some more photos before I get it all manked up with road clag
Lovely! Still can't get over what good condition it's in

It even still has the fifth alloy in the boot! Couple of pics of the FD sulking in the garage and plotting revenge. Bet the bloody thing won't start next time I try
Couldn't resist this, either, since I was getting some little "13 Bee" decals from Pete on FDUK, got him to make some up for the 12A as well. Cheeky li'l finishing touch.
Hopefully going to get a modern head unit in there the next few days, cos the aerial's snapped off so the radio don't work, and who the hell has cassettes nowadays?

Gotta have my chooons. At first I thought the stereo was original and would have been slightly reluctant to rip it out for a newfangled thing, but it's an aftermarket Kenwood thing anyway, so happy days. Free conscience
Dave, I forgot to make a note of the VIN for you, I'll sort that out tomorrow, mate. I'm dying from man-flu of the face right now, so can't face getting off my death bed (well, the sofa, anyway) to look right now
